and ct/gp tutor not around (again. dunno why he always kena reservist lol.) yay! =D

bejeweled almost a week never play liao.
now i can't seem to play properly. -.-


anyway.
so yarh. 台北. =D

got damn a lot of dope stuff:
6 shirts.
4 pairs of jeans.
2 shorts
1 hat.
1 jacket.
1 vest.
1 pair of shoes.
3 bags.
and a ring
and some food
and some other random stuff.
yarh. =D
(that's all i can remember for now. =/)


dunno why.
but i love that place.
3rd time there liao.
1st time i go somewhere go 3 times one. lol.
but 1st time there neither having everything already planned for me nor on a school trip.
so yarh it's rather different.

now i get why people say must bring at most a half filled luggage when travelling.
we went there with 2 half filled luggages and came back with 2 really 塞满-ed luggages and 2 damn full boxes. bout the A4 paper that kind of box. maybe slightly bigger. haha.


台湾人 are really damn nice people.
out of 10 taiwanese you meet.
maybe if you're unlucky, there'd be 1 unfriendly/rude/weird/whatever one.
out of 10 songaporeans you meet.
maybe if you're lucky, there'd be 1 or 2 nice people.

i think all the 店员 and 计程车司机 there all damn nice.
every shop i walk into, the 店员 will come over and help you 介绍.
then they hear you speak and they'll ask "ㄟ 你们是本地人吗?"
and when they realise you're there on holiday they start asking like
"你们来几天啊?" "有没有去(哪里哪里)玩啊?" and stuff like that.
then they'll 介绍 all the different places 好玩好吃的.
and they'll 给你多打折.
even if you don't buy anything, when you're leaving they'll still ask like "这里附近有想要去哪里逛的吗?" then they'll give you directions. and stuff like that.
and the 计程车司机-s also. they'll 介绍 all the places along the way and stuff.

with the exception of a few shops in 淡水 that've got damn lousy 店员-s.
and this irritating 计程车司机. -.-
shall not elaborate.


the vongole at Mr.J really damn nice.
the 淡水的 tall ice cream thing really nothing nice. it's just tall lorh. yeah something you try once and don't have to try it again.
东区那里满特别的. 小巷子里超多人在逛超多的店.


3rd time to 台北.
1st time to 东区、五分埔.
1st time i ate 麻辣/牛奶火锅、猪血糕、甜不辣.
2nd time to the top of 101、士林夜市.
3rd time to 淡水、西门町.

after going there 3 times.
i realised:

1. don't bother buying cds there cos it's (most) more ex than here (in shops like sembawang and cdrama). unless it's something you can't find here.

2. 台湾人 have dinner damn early. their dinner time bout 6-7pm one. so if you wanna go those more popular restaurants and stuff. best to go before 6pm. especially on weekends. and especially during school holidays. like now. 暑假. lots of people everywhere even on weekdays.

3. most shops only open around 11am/12pm. on weekends some 1/2pm. better check before you go there. if like there's a specific shop you wanna go larh. yarh. and cos most of the places i went before liao. so this time there everyday leave the hotel like around 12pm one. lol.

4. don't 急着买东西. cos almost all the time there's the exact same 东西 or even nicer ones a few shops down the street. yarh so like if there's this rude 店员 just walk out. you'll still be able to find the thing you want one.

5. if you wanna shop. visit 五分埔 first before shopping anywhere else. i got a bag there for NT800. saw the exact same bag in 西门町 for NT1250 (somewhere there). yarh.

6. if there's 3-4 people. take taxi. save time and money. unless you're going out of 台北市. then 搭捷运 cheaper.

7. yarh change money at the airport there. when my dad changed there the rate was 22.4 something. the first money changer you see after leaving the plane. i think the rate isn't as good outside at the arrival/departure hall whatever. when i was leaving 台北 the rate was 21.something. if you need more money and at the hotel can change money, then change at the hotel. they don't charge service charge unlike banks. from what i heard, taiwan there don't have money changers around one. lol.

oh next time i go there.
我不要夏天去了.
like one of the 计程车司机 was telling us.
cos of 台北的地形.
eventhough the temperature may be the same as singapore, it feels a lot hotter. and damn 闷.
but luckily those few days i was there it was either raining (but for like short periods only) or the 要下雨 kind of weather. so it wasn't very hot. only on the last day then it was 热到不行.


下次.
一定要到上阳明山看夜景.
一定要去看一次不售票演唱会.
一定要去nikeid做双鞋.
一定要多吃些小吃.



蛮遗憾的.
这次去没去热闹一下什么活动.
也没去看什么演唱会.
7/4 那天就有3场演唱/音乐会了.
谢和弦的. 在台中.
小宇的. 在台北.
萧敬腾 & 蔡依林的. 在淡水
上面两个. 在去台北之前就知道了.
下面的. 是到了那里有看到海报才知道的.
因为那天晚上得和我爸的朋友他们一家吃顿晚饭.
也因为我知道我爸妈不是很喜欢去那种地方.
所以就没能去了. 唉~


下次一定要.
